Best wishes.
Hi classmates!

I studied Bussiness and I am also a dancer and a dance teacher in jazz and ballet.
I hope to have a wonderful course and learn so much.

About my career...

Hi everybody!

I love my career because it has to do with new technologies. There are many interesting things about telecommunications, for instance fiber optic, antennas, IP networks, wireless networks, TV broadcasting and radio broadcasting. But my favourite topic is about IP networks. The IP networks are difficult because they have many protocols. In order to permit the networks to work succesfully are necesary two important devices: the switch and the router. These two devices need configuration and administration and I know how to do that.

Currently I am looking forward for getting a certification CCNA in order to achieve a better level in my skills. I also like the wireless networks, for example Cellular networks. In fact the topic of my thesis is 'Mobile TV through Third Generation Cellular Networks and Beyond'. So now you know a little bit about things I like about my career.

See you soon folks!
Hey guys! I'm Efratah GV. If you have problems pronouncing my name, you can call me Efra. I'm studying Chemical Engineering but I'm not really sure if that's what I want to do the rest of my life... I'd like to study Chemistry :P. Many people think these two careers are similar but they're not! Basically, a Chemical Engineer applies to the processes what the Chemist has developed, discovered, created, etc. And, in my opinion, C.E. are more like Industrial Engineering (Managers with Helmet, as a teacher used to say).
So, if somebody here is studying C.E. too or Chemistry, apart from Mili (Milagros), you can give me some advice and I would thank you a lot.
Hello everyone!!! my name is Jairo, i'm a chemistry student, well actually i'm just working on my thesis cause i already finish with all my subjects so formally i'm not a student anymore , the only one problem of have finished with my subjects is that i can't have all the privileges that a student have!!! for example the medical service or the acces to the olympic pool, that makes me sad, but in the other hand i'm happy cause im close of becoming a chemist and i realy like!
Hi guys!, my name is Jesús, but you can call me Chucho if you want. I am studying architecture, but I am interested in History, Anthropology and Mexican Archaeologist too. I would like to focus in how to conserve and preserve the anciant monuments (our anciant monuments, please, don't destroy them!!, and read about them). What I enjoy the most is drawing, playing football soccer (I think I am very good at playing soccer, jaja) and going out with friends. I use to go jogging every morning I can. I love The Beatles' music, one of my favorite songs is "A day In The Life" (Have you heard it?), and I like a lot Paul McCartney's songs like a solist singer. However, I like The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Creedence, Maldita Vecindad, El Tri, and many others groups and bands I can't remember right now...

The Real Challenge

Hi to everybody!!
This is not the first time I write in a Blog so this is familiar to me, the real challenge is that I have to write in English (obviously in a correct way)...
To introduced myself, I like to say that I'm interested in movies, photo and music; there are (in general) my hobbies... so if you have some suggestions, I will check them!!..

Blog Begginer

Hello!
I'm Marina. This is the first time that I enter to a blog, so I don´t know well what I have to do or how this thing works!
I really will appreciate any help that you can give me.
Well, I'm a psychologist interested in basic processes: learning, memory, cognition, etc.
The thing that I most like from my profession is to do research...I really enjoy the process to get ready an experiment. For example, these days, an undergraduate student and I have been weighting and handling 12 albino rats, that we will use in the next experiment. In 2 or 3 days, I will teach her the basics of experiment programming. The idea is to give her a taste about the operante lab work. She will be attended to the lab the whole semester, as part as a program focused in research training for undergraduate students. I hope I could share our advances in this blog.
Thanks!

Hello to everyone!!!

Hi!!!

I'm Lourdes, but you can call me Lulú. I'm from Spain, but I'm living for now in Mexico for three reasons, because I like a lot the country and the people, because I'm doing my doctorated, here in the UNAM, and finally but not less important, because my partner is from Mexico and he has to finish his studies.
I studied Agriculture Engineering in Spain, and step by step, I specialized in soils and environment, and I love this topic, I never thought that soils could be so interesting, it is true!! Now I'm working in the Teotihuacan Valley, doing studies about erosion and paleoenvirnmental periods. With this project I have joined two of my great interests in life, soils and archaeology. I have never studied anything about archaeology, but always it has fascinated me, and now I'm learning all I can. When I finished my doctorated, it is more or less in 3 years, I will come back to Spain, I want to put in practice all I'm learning here. Although, I know that 3 years is a lot of time, it never knows what is going to happen, so... it is me.

Hello everyone, and welcome to your writing blog! Here you will be able to write and post many different things. Feel free to post something you've written in the past that you really liked, or something that you've worked on in this class. You can also share interesting links, videos etc. that you find on the web.

This is different to free writing because I would like you to concentrate on your accuracy in what you write here. Try your best to not make mistakes. But don't be afraid to make some, as this is how you learn! But if you re-read what you wrote earlier and discover a mistake, you can edit your post and correct your mistake.

Please also comment on your colleagues' posts. Blogs are not only for writing your thoughts, but responding to other peoples' as well. The more people who respond to a post, the more interesting it becomes!

We will be doing "blog" writing during lab times, but whenever you want to post something of interest, feel free to do so.

Enjoy!
Shelley
